Diet beverages have unique requirements for product storage, temperature and stock rotation. When these parameters are exceeded, significant losses when out-of-specification product must be discarded. In one specific market, the losses were exceeding $1,000,000 annually.

Many regional bottlers did not understand the specific requirements of products containing NutraSweet. As a result, there was no coordinated strategy for addressing the problem. A consistent training program that would outline the storage, rotation and temperature parameters for the product was developed. Strong elements of team building were requested for the program.

Group Solutions provided requirements requirements gathering, courseware design and national program delivery.

Over $1,000,000 in savings was realized the first year of the program in a single market. These results were so encouraging that the program was rolled out to bottlers nationwide.
