While biological success in re-establishing breeding populations in a 5-county area of coastal North Carolina been achieved, a range of human dimensions and scientific challenges must be addressed if breeding populations of wild red wolves are to be sustained.

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service sought input from stakeholders and the science community on the considering the future of the red wolf recovery. Group Solutions designed and facilitate a team-based review of the program.

Meeting virtually, and in person, the team reviewed supporting science, program management, human dimensions to consider multidisciplinary needs and deliverer team-based recommendations to the FWS Director.
